Set up your Echo so you can listen to music, get news, set timers and alarms and more
Step 1
Make sure your Echo is plugged in. Turn on your Echo and follow the on-screen steps. Once you have connected to WiFi and linked your Echo with your Amazon account, you’re ready to get started.
Step 2
Download the Alexa app on your mobile device (Android and iOS) and sign in with your Amazon account. The Alexa app is where you can discover skills, manage contacts, view your to-do and shopping lists, remotely control music on your Echo, link your accounts, access Settings and more.
