Parking a Call

Call parking is a feature that allows you to put a call on hold so that another person can pick it up on a different extension. When you “park” the call, anyone with access to the parked call can pick it up.

Step 1

Assuming you are on a call and the call is connected. Dial ##*7, you will hear the following voice prompt “700“, after the voice prompt you can end the call. The call should be parked.

Park Slots

If you have more than one parking slot. for example, you have slot 700, 701 and 702 the system will allocate the calls accordingly. When a call is parked wait for the voice prompt to announce the parking slot number.

Step 2

When you want to retrieve the call you can dial 700. You should be connected to the call. Keep in mind any extension on your system will be able to retrieve parked calls.

Park Slots

If you have more than one parking slot available dial the slot number the call is parked in for example dial “701” (the parking slot will be announced when the call is parked).
